I saw this one and thought it would be useful to record with a post. Frequently when it comes to the Conversational AI ecosystem, there are quite a lot of use-cases that still need a human to do something.

Yes, we're seeing some awesome moves – RPA-on-steroids – from the likes of Claude and so on, but still, many companies still have dozens (or more) edge cases that need a human to do something to help complete a process.

All too often, that means defaulting 'to the call centre'. I remember sitting in one meeting where the team were discussing their Conversational AI deployment recently and it was quite alarming how many times someone had to say, 'ah yes, redirect to call centre' whilst we went through the top 50 use-cases.

So Abundant might be useful for you to keep in your back pocket for these kinds of situations, especially if your client doesn't have a call centre team to fall back on. Or... if your client is trying to avoid having to use their expensive team members for these tasks. Could you outsource the task to Abundant instead?

Here are some of the use cases the team at Abundant are highlighting but I bet you've got a ton in mind too, right?

Essentially you need humans to step in when the process needs a human to press a button or do something (especially if you haven't got an API for that particular function up and running yet). Or if you need human review and approval – or if you want to check and review model safety.

Of course, it's all available with just a few lines of code...

If you're interested, reach out to the Abundant team and discuss.
