Editorial policy
Conversational AI News covers chatbots, voice assistants, large language models, AI agents and customer-experience AI, with a focus on real deployments over hype.
Who runs it
The publication is owned and edited by Ewan MacLeod. Every piece is reviewed and approved by him before it is published.
How we use AI
News write-ups under the byline Eddie Smith are prepared by EDDIE, our AI editor, working from the company's own announcement or the primary research. EDDIE drafts; a human approves. Posts prepared this way say so in a note at the end.
Sources
News stories link to the primary source: the company's own release, the paper or the report, not a wire or aggregator. We only quote people using words they actually said or wrote. We do not paraphrase into quotation marks.
What we publish
Practitioner interviews, contributed opinion pieces, analysis and news. Press releases are assessed for whether they matter to people deploying conversational AI. Most do not run.
Contributed content
Interviews and opinion pieces are written by the people named on them. We edit for clarity and fit, not to change what they said.
Corrections
